As a nonprofit organization, the Garden relies on funding from membership dues to fulfill the work of our mission. Your contribution plays an essential role in our ability to serve our community as a resource for education, conservation, and research, as well as a place of beauty and respite. You are an essential part of what keeps our Garden growing! 


Membership Levels and Benefits

We offer a wide variety of membership levels to suit your lifestyle! Check out all of our membership levels and their benefits in the grid below.

Your Garden membership includes reciprocal benefits.

The American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Garden Network offers free admission and/or additional benefits at more than 345 gardens throughout North America and the Caribbean.


Senior/Military Discount: Seniors (age 60+) and active or retired military personnel may receive a $5 discount on the membership level of their choice per year. To redeem your discount online, enter the appropriate promotion code at checkout: “Garden1” for a one-year membership, “Garden2” for a two-year membership, or “Garden3” for a three-year membership. Proof of valid ID will be required at your first visit to the Garden. (Limit of one discount per membership)

Matching Gifts: Many employers will match your contribution to a nonprofit organization like the Garden, which furthers the impact of your support through membership. Please ask your employer for details.

Pay by Check: To pay for your membership by check, please download our membership form and return the completed form with payment to the Garden front desk or via mail.

Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable, and valid only for the Adult(s) listed on the Membership. (except Partner, Patron, and Ambassador annual guest passes.)

The Huntsville Botanical Garden is a Nonprofit Charitable Organization (NPO) with 501(C)3 status as indicated by the IRS. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
