August 16, 2007. September and October bring the Scarecrow Trail back to the Huntsville Botanical Garden. Dozens of wild, wacky, scary and funny crows are once again hiding behind the trees throughout the Garden.
This year, the Garden is kicking off the Trail with a special event on Monday, September 3rd, from 9:30 a.m. till 2 p.m. Scarecrows on Parade will feature a scarecrow dress-up contest, a fishing rodeo, races and games, a DJ and lots of fun. Admission to the Garden gains access to all activities.
The Scarecrow Trail has once again this year been honored as one of the Top 20 Tourist Attractions by the Southeast Tourism Society.
Other related activities include the creepy sorghum maze, the Enchanted Forest in the Nature Trail, and weekend hay rides.
