25th Anniversary
Tuesday January 1, 2013 - Tuesday December 31, 2013:
Dream no small dreams.
Simple words. Yet this challenge has resonated throughout the years since December of 1979, when fourteen people met with the sole purpose of establishing a botanical garden in Huntsville. In 1988, 25 years ago this May, Huntsville Botanical Garden opened with one employee and the sweat equity of hundreds of volunteers, and has grown to become one of the top tourist attractions in the southeast. And the story continues as we move into the next 25 years with a recently updated master plan and a renewed vision to create a memorable experience with the visitor in mind, never forgetting to remain focused on our original directive to “dream no small dreams.”
