Purdy Butterfly House
Friday May 1, 2015 - Wednesday September 30, 2015:

This beautiful, soaring 9000 sq. ft. natural stone and steel beam structure overlooking the entrance pond is home to thousands of native butterflies, tadpoles, frogs, button quail, turtles and other critters. Waterfall, ponds, streams, lush vegetation and flowering plants invite visitors to experience this varied and colorful collection of flora and fauna.

Scarecrow Trail
Friday September 4, 2015 - Saturday October 31, 2015:
Throughout the Garden

Fall means scarecrows at the Garden, as well as weekend hayrides and our Sorghum Maze. The theme for 2015 is "Pure Imagination."

Galaxy of Lights
Friday November 13, 2015 - Saturday January 2, 2016:

Don't miss North Alabama's favorite holiday tradition for 20 years! Galaxy of Lights is a holiday light extravaganza featuring larger-than-life animated light displays. See Santa soaring over a delightful winter village. Nursery rhyme characters dance and frolic among traditional scenes of the season. And, best of all, experience the magic of the twinkling icicle forest. Galaxy of Lights is the perfect holiday treat for the young and young-at-heart.

Beaks and Barks
Friday January 15, 2016 - Sunday February 28, 2016:
In the Garden

Cool winter days during January and February are perfect for getting out of the house and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine in the Garden. Enjoy a walk with your dog or grab your binoculars (and camera) and head down to the Lewis Birding Trail.

Huntsville Blooms
Tuesday March 15, 2016 - Saturday April 30, 2016:

Our beautiful outdoor spaces take center stage during March and April. Spring-blooming trees, shrubs, and perennials are highlighted by colorful bulbs and special flowering displays. Welcoming French Flower Market-inspired displays include wooden flats of spring flowers, a
bicycle, and baskets of blooms. New activities and old favorites are being planned.
