Girls Night Out: Ceramic Butterfly Puddler
Friday June 3, 2016:
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Anderson Education Center Classroom
Grab your best girlfriend and head to the Garden for an evening of fun and creativity. Make a take-home craft and enjoy light hors d’oeuvres. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Here’s what we have planned ...
We will design and underglaze a unique pottery piece that may be used to attract and feed butterflies in your backyard. This is a two-session class (June 3rd and 17th); the registration fee covers BOTH sessions.
In the first class we will work with raw clay to design your butterfly puddler that will then go into a kiln for firing. During the June 17 class you will put the finishing touches on your pottery piece.
||To have a really successful butterfly garden you'll need nectar plants and a water source called a butterfly puddler.
Work with local potter, Pam McAlpine to create a unique one of a kind piece of garden art for your butterfly garden!
