Demonstration Vegetable Garden

Created and maintained by the Master Gardeners of North Alabama, this area is a
composite of various types of gardens to serve as models for the home gardener. The Demo
Vegetable Garden spotlights All America Selections and heirlooms that have stood the test of
time and are appropriate for growing in our region. |
The purpose of the Association is to
- Enhance and supplement the consumer horticulture in extension, teaching,
and research of the Alabama Cooperative Extension Universities,
- Extend the Master Gardener's knowledge of and interest in horticulture
and related activities,
- Disseminate to the Alabama citizens and residents information on
horticultural practices and techniques in accordance with standards approved
by the Alabama Cooperative Extension Universities, and
- Provide opportunities for its members to meet and associate with
others who have similar horticultural interest.
