Take a trip back in time at the Garden. More than 20 different displays of life-sized, realistic dinosaur models will be located throughout the Garden - in the Encore Garden; along the Dogwood Trail, in the Nature Trail; in the Children's Garden and in the Nature Center.

The models, created by master artist Guy Darrough at Lost World Studios come in all shapes and sizes. The exhibit of more than 30 pieces include a 30-foot Maiasaurus, a 20-foot Allosaurus, a 20-foot tall Astrodon, and even a 4-foot long Arthropleura - a giant millipede.

Dinosaur Uproar Events

As part of the exhibit, the Garden will feature guided Dino-tours, adult and children's educational programs, members' and community social events. A partial list of events follows. Please check back from time to time for more information on programs.

• Dinos & Donuts, Saturday, March 15, 8 a.m.

  Members, please join us on opening day of Dinosaur UpRoar in the Boeing Education Classroom for Dinos and Donuts. Enjoy juice and donuts on your way out to see the Dinosaurs before the Garden opens to the public.
  
  

• Opening Day, Saturday, March 15, 9 a.m.

  Greet the dinosaurs and participate in special children's activities scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.:
  • Fossil rub
  • Dinosaur finger puppet craft
  • Scavenger hunt
  • Dino Mug Shots
  • Storyteller on the Great Lawn (11 a.m.-12 p.m.)
  • Balloon artist in Cedar Glade (10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)
  Enjoy food vendors. A dino safari kit, available for purchase in the gift shop, will make the exploration experience even more memorable.
