Federated Garden Clubs of Huntsville & Madison County presents
A Standard Flower Show - 20 Bloomin’ Years
Tuesday, May 20th, 2-5 p.m.
Wed May 21st, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Boeing Education Classroom
Open and Free to the Public
Visit the flower show to see beautiful cut horticultural specimens from
real home grown local gardens and to ponder the delights of 24 floral designs
from tables to miniatures.
This flower show is a tribute to those who made the Botanical Garden become a
reality. Volunteers such as the "Bushwhackers" who cleared the land in the early
days, and organizations such as the plant societies, the Garden Guild, garden
clubs, and Master Gardeners were all among those who gave their hearts, talents,
labor and money to realize the dream. Thanks to both those long gone and those
that live on.
We encourage all gardeners to bring blooming cut horticulture specimens for
exhibit. If that sounds like fun, then please contact the Flower Show
Horticultural Chairman Mary Lou McNabb 256 534-3815.

hard work of our local Master Gardeners.
Stroller Club Rolls On!
Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
The Stroller Club for our youngest members and their moms meets
on the back deck behind the Tea Room. This group allows new mothers to have
company as they stroll through the Garden and enjoy the fresh air. It’s a great opportunity to
make new friends and get some exercise, too.
Stroller Club is free for members. Garden admission covers the cost for non-members.
